most frequent question we are asked is "How much
is it going to cost for our web site?" This same
question is the most difficult to answer because each
customer's needs are different.
The
best way to find out the cost of your website is to
complete our inquiry form.
This is part of our free consultation that we offer,
with no risk or obligation involved, and we will follow
up with you by phone or email. There are many factors
that go into creating a web site, and the more information
you can give us about what you want, the better our
estimate will be. These are the basic guidelines to
KLB Web Solutions' price structure in the following
areas:
The
affordable web site features below will give you a good
idea of how much to budget for us to design your web
solution. These items are common to most small business
or non-profit organization web sites, but they are only
suggestions. You can vary them or pick from among them
to best meet your needs.
Web
Site Design
You
may be wondering "What does design include? What
is extra?" At KLB Web Solutions, we consider design
work to include the design of your web pages: layout,
navigation system, meta tag creation, statistics counter,
and uploading the site to your web host. Most clients
prefer at least a 3 page site, and prices are based
on the complexity of navigation and number of pages.
However,
we do not charge for any time to discuss
basic web site requirements, for client inquiries to
explore other options related to web site design, or
for minor revisions to a site design. We understand
that web site design is new to most of our clients,
so we take the time to work with you and create a design
that is to your satisfaction.

Domain
Name Registration
Will
you need to select and register a domain name? When
potential customers hear the name of a company, one
of the first things they will do is enter in the company
name as a "dotcom": (www.yourcompany.com).
Although it is not mandatory to have your own domain
name, it does increase the professionalism of your company.
Some
clients prefer that we handle the registration of the
domain name, and we will do that. Our current price
for this service is $25, which includes the domain
name costs for the first year.

Web
Hosting Evaluation and Setup
Will
you need to secure web hosting services? We have experience
with different hosting services with varying services
included, so we are not tied into using one company
in particular. We do this because what may work for
one business may be too much or too little for another,
or a client may have a particular preference. We work
with the client so their needs are met, but also affordably.
Again,
some clients prefer that we handle the set up of their
hosting agreement, and we will also do that. Our current
price for this service is $50. Please note that
this charge does not include your monthly hosting charges
from your hosting company.

eCommerce
Development
Will
your web site be used for selling products or services?
We provide full ecommerce development. This is an area
that involves many variables and requires specific customization.

Forms
and Programming
Will
you require any special interactive forms to capture
customer information or responses? Our current price
for an email form is $75, as a general guideline.
Yet there are many other types of customization services
that can be done. Because this is also an area that

Web
Site Re-Design
Do
you already have a business site but you're looking
to have a makeover? If it has been more than 3 years
since your web site had a new look - you may want to
seriously consider a re-design. This is a good time
to update all the content in your site, revise your
navigation structure, and take advantage of the latest
technology. Re-designing an existing web site, from
a designers standpoint, can be just as time consuming
as a new site design. Or it may not, and KLB Web Solutions
will consider your existing site and requested changes
in developing a price quote for a re-design. Please
give us as much information of the changes you would

Monthly
Web Site Maintenance
We
are available to maintain your web site for you, even
if your web site was designed by someone else. Our maintenance
fee includes the following types of activities:
- text
updates
- adding
new products
- adding
new product images
- modifying/adding
new links
- posting
sales or specials announcements
KLB
Web Solutions offers two web maintenance options. Either
option listed below is available with a 6 month signed
contract, which is re-negotiable after the 6 month period
is up (and after any subsequent 6 month periods).
Regular
Maintenance Option: $100 per hour for small businesses,
$65 per hour for non-profit organizations
This option is is billed at the rate of $100
or $65 per hour, in 15 minute increments. On
average, most of our maintenance client updates take
15 minutes for each update. This way your total cost
would only be for the amount of time spent actually
doing your updates. If you would like the convenience
of a professional maintaining your site, and may not
have a lot of updates each month, this is a great option
because you only pay for the time that is used.
Retainer
Maintenance Option: $100 per month retainer for
small businesses, $65 per month retainer for non-profit
organizations
If you may require more frequent updates, or perhaps
more detailed and time consuming updates each month,
then this may be your preferred option. You pay a set
amount of either $100 or $65 per month
(even months you don't require maintenance service)
and KLB Web Solutions will be on retainer and available
when you need us. It is because it is a retainer, and
paid each month, that we are able to keep this price
so low.
