Autoresponders are automated email response systems. Autoresponders are very important in email marketing. You can use them so that anyone who sends an email to an autoresponder will receive an email back to them containing information about your business or organization. Autoresponders are used to distribute all kinds of information such as free articles, sales letters, price lists, product updates, etc.

The company then will receive a list of any email address that requested information from them via the autoresponder. Follow up inquiries can then be sent back a set number of days after the initial inquiry. They can be a very simple but effective tool for sales and marketing of your company.
